Forbes of Kingennie Dundee – Wedding Photography – Ruth and John

Once the group photograph was taken and Ruth and John had a few minutes with their guests we headed off towards the boathouse to start their couple shots. Normally I’d do any family groups first but the weather was great, the sun was out so we decided to swap the order round.



The boat house is where most couples at Forbes spend their first night, it’s a sumptuous beautiful place

with a lovely deck out over the water. I very often have to ask fishermen to move from their spot for the photography. I hate doing it, after all they have paid to be here just as much as the couple but in reality, most wouldn’t want to be in the photographs anyway and they are always very happy to step back and watch for a while.
