Forbes of Kingennie, Dundee. Wedding Photography – Ruth and John
Forbes of Kingennie is one of my favourite venues, I shoot lots of Weddings there each year. The location is great, the staff friendly and efficient and the weather seems to be great all the time. Some of the opportunities for location shooting are just magnificent – all this makes for a happy photographer.
John and Ruth chose Forbes as a venue and elected to hold the service and the Wedding Breakfast there.
Ruth was given away by her Brother who is in the Household Cavalry – he looked very smart in his uniform, only outsmarted (is there such a word) by Ruth who looked stunning in her dress. 
Ruth and John had chosen to hold the service in the function room, this is quite unusual especially as the weather was good and normally services are outside. There was a fairly large number of people so perhaps the marquee was not quite large enough. 
This is a great place for a group shot, at certain times of the day and at certain times of the year, this area can be partly in the sun and partly in the shade which makes for a very difficult photograph. Experience of a Wedding Venue is a must when choosing a photographer.
