Commercial Photography – Architectural Photography – Property Photography

Once again I was photographing a showhome yesterday, this one was absolutely stunning, very very expensive but in a lovely setting and the attention to detail was exceptional.  It even had a tv built into the tiles above the bath taps, that would have sold it to me.

This home was kitted out by a team of professional dressers whose job it is to make the property look huge, they didn't; have to work too hard this time, it was massive. However, the current fashion for reflective surfaces was once again at the fore making my life really difficult.

The stainless steel splash back above the cooker was a real problem and I spent almost an hour moving flashes round to try to eliminate the reflection. You can still see it but it’s not obvious what it is but in the door to the left of it you can see the reflection of a softbox

Each room had top quality speakers in the ceiling, the music was controlled from a sonos device like an ipod where you could control each room, play different music or the same music in each area. The dvd was also controlled from there. The understair cupboard looked like the cockpit of a plane
