Birkhill Castle Wedding Photography Louise and Peter Part 1
Louise and Peter met whilst working on Cruise Ships (they still do), Peter as Senior First Officer and Louise as a Nurse. Peters Best man said that his job was to make the passengers sea sick and Louise’s job was to make them better. I am sure that is not the case.
Peter said that he knew that Louise was the one for him when he saw her resuscitating a passenger, her skirt had risen up a bit and he saw stocking tops, apparently this was all part of the staff fancy dress day!!
As the spend their life on the high seas meeting up (and even discussion) was difficult, we had the opportunity to meet once in the summer when they officially booked me for their big day which was to be held at Birkhill Castle – one of my favourite venues. We all got on really well, such a nice couple, the fact that I knew Birkhill well helped them feel confident that I’d deliver the goods for them. They chose 21st Dec as the date, the darkest day of the year so I knew that we’d be using the stunning interior of the castle for most of the photographs.
Birkhill is great for the house party type Wedding where you take over the castle for the weekend and bring in caterers. It also has great grounds but we didn’t have the opportunity to use them.
Louise was too nervous even to finish her lunch
So many shoes to choose from
These are the ones for me
When you spend your life travelling the world, dropping by Tiffanies for rings is perfectly normal (I guess)
Peter was explaining exactly how Louise likes his hair to be
Part 2 of Louise and Peters wedding at Birkhill castle coming soon.
