Glenesk Hotel, Edzell, Wedding Photography – Kelly and Simon

The first Wedding of the year was last Saturday up at Glenesk Hotel in Edzell. Not a usual location for  me having only shot Weddings there about 3 or 4 times but none the less a lovely venue. And, thank God for the weather, it could have been so much worse. We had a reasonably comfortable day which was dry and only slightly overcast.

As normal I started the day at Kellys House where her and the Bridesmaids were getting ready

 
Very unusual to have 3 different colours of Bridesmaids dresses but somehow it just seemed right





After I had finished there I shot along to the hotel to catch up with Simon and his best man. Firstly I took the opportunity to get some shots of the table decorations

 
Then it was time to await the Brides arrival. This was going to be an unusual Wedding in the both Kells Mother and Father were walking her down the aisle.
