Pre Wedding Photo Shoot
On Thursday I had arranged to do a pre-wedding shoot with Michael and Jacqueline who are getting married next May, we had this shoot planned for a while but every date we had agreed was rained off. Thursday was not looking great either but the weather turned out to be great and the late evening light at this time of year is superb. Although Michael and Jacqueline live in Dundee I had suggested a couple of locations round Blairgowrie that I knew.
we started at an abandoned church but the sun had just dipped round the side of a hill, it left behind a great warm glow but time was limited.
I have a bit of a thing for back lighting at the moment and the late evening sun is great for that, especially with hair like Jacqueline's.
We moved on to the River Tay near Ballathie, we were racing the sunset but we managed some great shots there too.
A nice gentle country stroll – I had to do a little Photoshop work on Jacqueline's skirt, the strong back light had made it almost see through!
A tad cheesy but it had to be done!
Finally we finished off at Whiteloch just as the sun finally disappeared.
A great evening, great couple and great shots – what more do you need.
