Wedding Photography, Lyndsey-Anne and Peter. Dollar and Doune
So, here I was sitting in a coffee shop in Dollar, killing time as I was way too early to head to Lyndsey-Annes parents house for the gatting ready shots. As there was no newspapers to read I was flicking through Twitter on my Blackberry. One person I follow is Mark Beaumont the man who cycled the Americas. He tweeted that he was off to a Wedding today, I had no idea that it was the Wedding I was to Photograph.
The Wedding was always going to be a great day, the service was in Doune Castle and the reception was to be at Dollar Academy where LAs Mum works. This is only 1 of 2 Weddings to be held here in living memory and it was really only because of LAs Mums connections that this was going to happen. Not only that a very special event was happening later which was a big secret.
I started at the Marquee where the tables were already set.
After that I headed round to the house where the Girls were getting ready.
Just as LAs Dad was putting her Grandmothers necklace on her LA (and I) thought he was bout to cry, LA said dont you start crying, to which he replied, why would I cry, this is the only thing here I have not paid for. I knew the Father of the Bride Speech would be good tonight!
And, the other bit of celebrity news is that LAs Roses were actually destined for Katy Price Wedding. I can’t remember the actual story but Katy Price was married on the same day in Perthshire and there was a mix up of some sort with the flowers so LA ended up with hers.
Check back in a day or so for pictures at Doune Castle
