Still Here

I know that the blog has gone really quiet after a frantic few weeks, this is simply because of the huge amount of commercial work I have been doing recently. I have shot 2 Weddings in the last week but 1 couple asked not to feature on the blog and I am still working my way through the other one. So watch out for that.

I’m on holiday for a week now so things will be quiet here again, keep looking back though as it’ll kick off with gusto again soon.

I’m working on a redesign of my gallery over on my regular website so I’ll keep you posted but feel free to go on and have a look at www.amforbes.com

Wedding Photography at Forbes of Kingennie – Vicky and Brendon

After the meal I noticed that the sun was really low and warm so I managed to drag Vicky and Brendon (and Cadbury) off round the ponds for another quick photo shoot.

This is one of my favourite shots, it’s like Cadbury is saying “god I’m bored with this, can I go and chase that duck”

After that quick photo session it was time for dancing.

Forbes of Kingennie – Wedding Photography – Vicky and Brendon

So, after the group shot we worked our way through the list of family photographs then we took Brendon, Vicky and Cadbury for a walk round the beautiful grounds of Forbes of Kingennie.

Even the table plan was based around Cadbury – the chocolate , not the dog!

He was getting tired with all the excitement

100410-344
100410-351 100410-352-2 There was discussions about Brendons bum during speeches!

100410-364-2

Then there was a “how well do you know your new husband” quiz, worryingly Vicky did not do very well!

Check back tomorrow for more couple shots after dinner when the sun was beautiful, then look forward to the dancing shots

Forbes of Kingennie, Vicky and Brendon

Vicky and her Father left the lodge and headed down to the small marquee for the service. I had gone ahead with Cadbury to hand him over to Brendon and didn;t realise that the rings were attached to his collar. Big panic if I had realised that, especially when he slipped his lead and headed towards the water.

All was well and Vicky arrived just on time, Cadbury and the rings were safe too.

It’s handy having 2 photographers – Caroline took this shot from the back whilst I was at the front.

Forbes of Kingennie Resort, Wedding Photography of Brendon and Vicky

I knew that this was going to be a different Wedding, it’s not unusual for dogs to come to Weddings but Cadbury the Italian Spinoni was going to play a large part in Brendon and Vickys Wedding. Brendon and Vicky live in Northampton and both lecture at a local college, Vicky comes from Forfar so she wanted to get married locally. I was delighted that she chose Forbes of Kingennie as it is one of my favourite locations.

Caroline and I started off in the lodge with Vicky (did I mention that Caroline does not like dogs).

The dress was hanging up and Vicky was happy for us to move it around for photography. I always get nervous at this point.

Brendon looked great in his Kilt, not sure what the hire company will say to the dog drool over the jacket mind you!

Vicky was looking gorgeous and the views from the lodges at Forbes of Kingennie are wonderful.
